Sean Dishman is a Los Angeles–based music executive and A&R currently serving as Senior Director, Creative at Kobalt Music, the world’s leading independent music publishing administration company. Over the past decade, Dishman has played a key role in shaping Kobalt’s artist roster and creative direction, signing and working closely with acclaimed artists including Mac DeMarco, Magdalena Bay, Eartheater, John Carroll Kirby, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, TV On The Radio, Andy Shauf, Kokoroko, and Mannequin Pussy. Dishman began his music industry career in 2013 when he joined Kobalt as a synch licensing intern while studying songwriting at Berklee College of Music. After graduating, he returned to the company as an assistant on the Creative A&R team and has since steadily built a diverse roster of innovative and globally recognized artists, earning a reputation for championing forward-thinking talent and fostering long-term creative partnerships.
