Jashim is a Colombian and Québécois artist, rapper and record producer. Having grown up in Urabá, Antioquia, he transforms his deep roots into futuristic rhythms redefining sound, identity and technology. After arriving in 2004, Jashim evolved within Ubisoft’s AAA video-game world before shifting his practice toward creating music and immersive worlds that act as portals. A pioneer of Montréal’s underground Latinx scene, he made his debut with the EP Cuando aprendía Hablar, blending reggaeton, memory and cinematic storytelling. Their work has been featured by Club Quarantine, Boiler Room, and Mutants Vol. 2 (curated by Arca), and they’ve shared the stage with groundbreaking artists including Tayhana, Rosa Pistola, Ms.Nina, Toccororo, Caleb Calloway and more.
